About

As a painter and visual artist I use collage as a base sketch to explore and create new dynamics in composition, background and form. This is my main objective. I apply my findings on paintings and other work such as video and writing.

I use myths and fairytales as a source of inspiration. As a consequence there is a certain relationship between narrative and form in my works. I also explore the link between this artistic process and contemporary world of consumerism and globalization that enables me the usage of materials from all over the world. In other words I want to restructurize myths into modern visual narrative through this relationship.
